When people see DJ Jonasty is coming to a venue, they know they have to be there.  The experience you get when he’s in the booth cannot be duplicated.  A fifteen-year veteran of the radio and club scene, DJ Jonasty is a master of crowd control.  His energy level, humor, and open format versatility on the turntables is second to none.  He got his start in Jackson MS, and his talents have taken him across the country from Beverly Hills to Houston to Chicago to Washington D.C. plus many places in between.  Whether it’s a nightclub, lounge, concert venue, festival, or corporate event, you never know what might happen when you party with Jonasty.  He's recently made the DMV area his new home and has already hit the ground running!  Look for his name at many of the DMV's top notch venues!

 

Radio and Mixes

He is a proud graduate of Jackson State University and has held many public and commercial radio positions.  Most recently, he was an executive producer for MPB Think Radio,  (NPR affiliate) and assistant program director for BDAY 99.1fm.  Hosting his own show “The Prime Time Rewind,” weeknights 6-10pm, Jonasty is the life of the party on the fm dial.  He created on-air contests, reported industry news, interviewed celebrities, and mixed classic Hip Hop and R&B records.  DJ Jonasty has over 80 mixes on Mixcloud and Soundcloud as well.
